AUTOMATIC OR STANDARD TRANSMISSION??

HI I don't know what to do. My VR6 Jetta broke its automatic transmission and I dont know what to do if letting it automatic or changing it to standard transmission? Will it work good if I change it to standard transmission?????

If you want to swap it over to a standard get a new car. You would have to change way too much and spend lots and lots of money in order to get it to a standard transmission. Or find a wrecked VR6 car and swap everything.

Well I was once in your position, well that was early this year. My automatic transmission gave out on the 1.6L and I got a 1.8T with standard 5-speed transmission. Now the standard transmission came from a 2001 Wolfburg edition Jetta which was a left hand drive and my car is a 2002 Bora which was a right hand drive. The conversion was fairly smooth granted that you have a good and dedicated mechanic.
I say go for the standard.
