Last weekend I got my first experience behind the wheel of a "ticket me yellow" Cayman S owned by Club Sportiva of San Francisco. Even though I handed back the keys on Monday morning, I'm still grinning. What a blast. I've owned/driven plenty of older model Porsches, from 356As to 993, I've even taken the Club's 2004 C4S out for weekend. But none of them have been as fun as the Cayman. This thing is as toss able as a Lotus, it feels that light. But it's got a powerband that's muscular throughout the full range. And you gotta love the color-coordinated seat belts.
By the way, I gotta recommend Club Sportiva- the place has the coolest cars, I can drive when I please, and I don't have to worry about storage, service, washing them, anything - it's just drive.
