... but ... but is was certainly sold in Europe, and quite competitive, I might add:

Since this is an open forum, I am going to offer my award-winning, near-museum-quality, Japanese-made 1985 Toyota Supra, that is now for sale so that I can buy the Jaguar of my dreams.  Car is FEATURED IN the October edition of Hemmings Classic Sport & Exotic Cars, and is FULLY DOCUMENTED and immaculate ---- totally original in every way except front brake pads and of course fluids, filters, tires, and battery, and preserved by me for the past twenty years.  Original Super White paint is deep and glossy, blue cloth interior is perfect, and CAR RUNS AS NEW.  5-speed of course, and optioned with factory electric sunroof.  63,000 original, documented and babied miles.

Car came in second only to a $150,000 Toyota 2000GT at the recent Toyota 50th anniversary show, and has one numerous first-place trophies at Supra shows.

A 1985 Supra recently sold for $19,000.... many others have now brought in excess of $14,000, so I am more than comfortable at asking $14,600 firm for this car.   I am a historian, so trust me when I tell you that there will be no disappointments as to its condition, and if you're concerned about it's non- Western Heritage, remember that it's engine has the smooth glee of a BMW, it's suspension was tuned by Lotus, it's reliability is unimpeachable, and it's '80s retro styling is origami-trendy again!      See this link for a slideshow, including Hemmings photos:   http://s90.photobucket.com/albums/k265/artistdon/?action=view¤t=mintwheels.jpg&slideshow=true&interval=3
