information on 325 please

Hello and thanks in advance for any help.  I live in the midwest and have been looking for a affordable "starter" BMW for over a year.  It's hard to find many nice examples of older ones here in the heartland.  Anyway, I have located a 1992 325 ic.  Nice little white rag top 6cyl automatic.  I was wondering if there are any issues these cars may be known for.  I think the car may be priced a tad high, but looks good and has about 90,000 miles on it.  A problem is that it's at a car lot and no history other than carfax is available.  I just want to make sure I don't invest in one that had a lot of typical problems.  Anything from you folks would be appreciated.
