I'm just wondering how many people that either post or more likely just lurk, are also on vortex? I have been on vortex for years, and for the most part I am a m big fan of the site.  

I've been on the vortex for just a little over 6 years and I think it's great!

If it wasn't for that site and the incredible amount of information available on it I would not have purchased a Corrado 3 years ago

Seriously, between their car specific forums, great user base and classifieds I've been able to keep the temperamental C in great running condition

Also the site has worked as a great meeting spot for locals (yes, even in iowa!) and after a few years we created our own iowa-based vw/audi club (euroBlitz.org)

We've become a tight group that help each other out in wrenching GTG's and meet up frequently. We also travel out to larger events together.

All that was made possible by the vortex, so they get a ton of thumbs up from me!!!

I've been on the Vortex since 2001... and almost 6k posts. The Vortex has proven to be very helpful re: tech tips and aftermarket parts sourcing for my Mk2 GTI.  The Car Lounge forum is also informative and amusing.  
BTW, I've been a EC subscriber since the "VW & Porsche Magazine" days!  
However, I haven't visited this site much in the past...
but I see a need to change that pattern!
