dsc dynamic stability control intermittent problem

hi. I have a 53 reg ( 03) bmw 320 d es estate. I recently had the steering bushes replaced but its now developed a problem with an intermittent dsc warning caption with associated wayward steering. It also has an intermittent outside air temperature wandering indication of + 50 to - 30 degrees.
Could these be associated ie if the oat gauge is broken could the dsc think its freezing and kick out ? is there a sensor for the oat ? or the dsc ?
